Fork in the Road – for our services, we do not offer any type of credit late payments or accounts and customers always pay in full before we return goods or for services supplied. Payment as soon as you have been invoiced.
Immediate payments – we find that bank transfers are the most efficient and hassle-free method of payment and can most easily be transacted via internet banking. We provide our bank account number and sort code.
Special ordered ‘parts’ need to be paid in full at the point of order and cannot be returned for credit, any balance of repair or service paid on completion.
A deposit of around 50% may be required before work starts on a bike build or project and balance paid on completion.
All parts remain the property of Fork in the Road until paid in full.
When you book a technician for a routine service, inspection or for faults to be repaired you are making a contract with Fork in the Road. You will be charged for the work and any parts used. You will be advised beforehand according to your personalised service.
Our minimum charge is £25.00 and a call out travel charge from £10.00, the minimum fee is not added to your bill if a service or repair is carried out. This will include an M-Check inspection, that will include an idea of cost and any advice work.
Where the customer is supplying parts, we can work with that however, the technician reserves the right to charge extra for fitting parts the customer has supplied. The technician has no responsibility for any returns of parts, damaged due to packaging or liable for warranty issues on the day or in the future, with failure to any parts not supplied by Fork in the Road. The technician reserves the right not to fit parts that are not compatible and the right to charge for on-site visits where parts have been supplied incorrectly and work cannot be carried out.
Bikes collected for servicing, payment in full is required before arranging a mutual time to return or collect.
